What kind of printers do you use for Photographic Prints?
Depending on your print size, your order could be printed on several different pieces of equipment. Most prints 12×18″ and smaller are printed on one of our Noritsu photo printers. Larger prints will be printed on Chromira printers. These printers expose light-sensitive paper that runs through the RA-4 chemical process.
Depending on size and configuration, some prints will be printed on professional and archival level inkjet printers using papers with the look and feel of RA-4 photo prints.
What kind of photographic paper do you use?
Do you sharpen my images when printing?
Do you put borders on my prints?
All of our prints are borderless by default. When ordering online, an optional border can be added to many sizes. If you would like a border when ordering in ROES, please put the border on yourself. Borders are available for Photo Proofs when ordered through ROES.
